§ 01 · Cybertruck Wrap Cost

How much does it cost to wrap a Cybertruck?

$3,500 for full colored PPF at Wrap Trap, 1810 N Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL — twenty minutes from Fort Lauderdale, twenty from Miami. That covers the full exterior of the truck in any of the 62 colored paint protection film colors we keep in stock, with surface prep, installation, edge work and a final inspection.

Our colored PPF on painted vehicles runs $4,500 to $8,500 depending on the car. The Cybertruck lands below that range for structural reasons — the next section walks through them — and a short table of what other shops publish sits further down for anyone who wants the comparison.

§ 02 · Why the Cybertruck Is a Fixed Job

The easiest full-size vehicle we wrap.

A single price only works when the job does not vary. On this truck, it doesn't — and that is Tesla's doing, not ours.

01

The panels are flat.

Tesla built the Cybertruck out of stainless-steel sheets bent along straight lines — no compound curves, no deep recesses, no bumper contours to stretch film into. Most of the labor in a colored PPF install is fighting curvature. On a Cybertruck there is very little to fight.

02

Prep is simple.

Degrease, de-fingerprint, lay film. There is no correction stage before the panels are ready, so the hours we would normally spend there are not in the number.

03

Every truck is the same truck.

Same panels, same sizes. On a Range Rover or a Corvette we measure, plan and cut per vehicle. On a Cybertruck the plan already exists, the material yield is known, and the waste is low. That is what lets us put one number on it.

§ 03 · In the Bay
Close-up of a wrapped Cybertruck hood with the Foundation Series badge

Cybertrucks come through this bay more weeks than not.

Teslas are the most-wrapped vehicles in our shop, and the Cybertruck's stainless panels are the easiest of the lineup to lay film on. Every crease on this truck is a straight line, and straight lines are where film behaves.

The work is in the prep and the edges. Each panel is cleaned and prepped, the film is laid on the flat faces, and the time goes into wrapping edges and working creases by hand so nothing lifts later.

§ 04 · What the Price Covers

Included in $3,500

  • Full exterior — every body panel, edges wrapped and tucked
  • Any of our 62 in-stock colored PPF colors — gloss, satin or matte, same price
  • Full surface prep before a single panel goes on
  • The film's factory ceramic top layer — hydrophobic, easy-clean, self-healing
  • Workmanship stood behind in writing

  • The roll-up tonneau cover and bed floor
  • Wheels, calipers, chrome delete, or window tint — all available, quoted separately

§ 05 · Why Colored PPF on This Truck
Rear three-quarter view of a wrapped Tesla Cybertruck, tailgate and bed sides

Stainless does not chip. It smudges and it scratches.

Paint protection film earned its name protecting paint. On the Cybertruck it is doing a different job — and it is the job Tesla's own manual describes: the manual tells owners to remove grease, resin, bird droppings, insects and road salt from the stainless immediately, not at the next wash, because they can corrode the surface. With film on the truck, that list stops being your problem.

§ 06 · 62 Colors

Pick the color. The number does not move.

39 gloss, 21 satin, 2 matte — every colored PPF film we stock is the same $3,500 on a Cybertruck. No premium-color surcharge.

Satin and matte read as one uninterrupted surface across the truck's flat faces, which is the look most Cybertruck owners come in asking for. Gloss turns every crease into a hard reflection line. Both work; bring the truck and we will lay samples on the door.

§ 07 · The Install

1

Confirm

Color, schedule and price go on a written confirmation before the truck comes in.

2

Prep

Every panel is cleaned and prepped. Film locks in whatever is under it, so this step is not rushed.

3

Install

Panels are laid, edges tucked, and creases worked by hand. Flat faces are fast; edges are where the time goes.

4

Inspect & hand back

Under lights, every edge and seam. One to three days in the shop, start to finish. Care instructions go with the keys.

Cybertruck Wrap FAQ

At Wrap Trap in Hollywood, Florida, a full colored paint protection film (colored PPF) wrap on a Tesla Cybertruck is $3,500 — published on September 16, 2026. That covers the full exterior in any of our 62 colored PPF colors, prep, install, and the film's ceramic top layer. That is the cash price; paying by credit or debit card adds sales tax and card processing fees. Glass, lights, black cladding, the tonneau cover, wheels and removal of a previous film are separate.
Our colored PPF range for painted vehicles is $4,500–$8,500, and the Cybertruck comes in under it for three concrete reasons. Its panels are flat, with no compound curves, which removes most of the installation labor. Prep is simpler than on a painted body. And every Cybertruck has identical panels, so material planning and waste are known in advance. Lower labor, simpler prep, predictable material — that is how a single number works without cutting a corner anywhere.
Colored PPF, in almost every case. Bare stainless shows every fingerprint and smudge, and it scratches — fine scratches on the Cybertruck's stainless are a common owner complaint. Colored PPF is a thick urethane film with a self-healing top layer: light scratches and swirls recover with heat, which South Florida supplies for free, and the ceramic-coated surface sheds water and dirt so the truck stays clean longer. Vinyl gives you the color but not the self-healing or the thickness. If you only want a color for a year or two, vinyl is the budget route; if you want the truck to look like this in five years, colored PPF is the answer.
Tesla's own Cybertruck owner's manual tells you to immediately remove grease, oil, bird droppings, tree resin, dead insects, tar, road salt and industrial fallout from the stainless — not to wait for the next wash — because those substances can cause surface corrosion, and it notes that orange or brown spotting is usually contamination sitting on the panel rather than the steel itself rusting. Bare stainless is a surface you are supposed to maintain constantly. A colored PPF layer takes that job off you: the contaminants land on a ceramic-topped urethane film that sheds them in a normal wash, and the stainless underneath never meets them.
Yes. Paint protection film bonds to any clean, non-porous, properly prepped surface, and stainless steel is about as non-porous as a surface gets. The variable is prep, not the metal: stainless picks up skin oils and handling residue that will show through or lift film if they are left behind, so we degrease and de-fingerprint every panel before we lay a single piece. Done right, the film sits flat, the edges stay down, and it comes off cleanly years later with the stainless underneath exactly as it was.
Any of the 62 colored PPF colors we stock — 39 gloss, 21 satin and 2 matte — at the same $3,500. Satin and matte finishes suit the truck's geometry particularly well because they read as one continuous surface across the flat panels; gloss makes the creases pop. Every color is on our colored PPF page with a photo of the actual film, and you are welcome to walk in and see the samples on the truck before you decide.
One to three days in the shop. Flat panels install faster than a curved body, which is why the Cybertruck turns around quicker than our usual colored PPF timeline — but it is still a thick film we do not rush: prep, install, edge work, and a final inspection under lights before the truck goes back to you. We confirm the schedule when you book, and if a specific color has to be ordered in, we tell you the lead time up front.
Applying film to the exterior is a cosmetic change and, in our experience, has not caused warranty problems for our Tesla customers — but the only authoritative answer is Tesla's, and we would rather point you to your warranty terms and your service center than speak for them. What we can say plainly: the film is removable, and removal returns the stainless to its original state. Nothing we do is permanent.
No, and we say so rather than let you find out later. Wrap Trap is an independent shop. We are not a certified or authorized installer of any film brand, and we do not claim manufacturer warranties we cannot hand you. What we do have is over 500 vehicles wrapped in Hollywood since 2019, Cybertrucks among them, a 4.9-star Google rating across 100+ reviews, and our own workmanship guarantee in writing.
